When Leon awoke, the first thing he was aware of was the fact that he was no longer in his bedroom. Instead of his bed, he was now lying upon a bed of leaves and moss, a blanket of what appeared to be spider-woven silk covering him
"W... what in the world... ?" He pushed himself up, regretting the action immediately as a sharp pain shot through his skull, "Ugh!"
"Well, what do you expect?" The scolding voice was accompanied shortly after by the appearance of a creature Leon had never seen before, a large, curved leaf held within its mouth. It moved forward, setting it down before the other and plopping back on its haunches, "Drink that, and you should be feeling far better."
"... The hell are you, and you must be kidding me if you expect me to just drink whatever that is." Both of his eyes were narrowed, dark purple and blue dark with suspicion; he didn't know where he was, and while a part of him preferred to believe everything was just a dream, his head still ached with a throbbing pain that hurt too acutely to be anything but reality.
"I am what I am, just as you are what you are." Its tail flicked, "But if you prefer to remain in pain, then far be it for me to stop it." It moved to pick the leaf up once more, only to be beaten as a hand snatched it away.
"... 'ave no choice but to trust you, I guess... besides, anything would be better than feeling like my head is being smashed in every few seconds." Sniffing at the liquid in the leaf, Leon had to admit to himself that it smelled rather nice. Sighing, he mock-toasted to the creature, "Bottom's up."
He nearly gagged, somehow managing to keep from throwing what he'd drunk back up - It might of smelled nice, but the taste was awful. However, true to its word, not a minute later and his head felt clearer than he recalled it ever being... at least it, whatever it was, had done its job.

The Summoner Contest Results
Okay, so to begin with, thank you to everyone who participated. The turnout was far better than I anticipated, and due to such it became one of my hardest contests to judge as of late!
Before I go on to announce the main place-holders, I wanted to let everyone know the basis of what I judged on after all the opinions and thoughts I got from those who I consulted for a bit of help...
* Effort:
Obviously. I wanted to be able to both see and get the feeling that the artist put a lot of work into their piece, and didn't just toss it together at the last minute.
* Creativity:
Can also be referred to as concept originality, I wanted to see
The Summoner Art Contest Advertising Contest [$25]
At the end of the contest, a raffle will be held and the winner will get $25USD (or equivalent in :points: if s/he doesn't have PayPal).
Anyone can enter, as long as s/he advertises the contest in his/her journal, though that isn't the only way one can get 'tickets' entered into the raffle.
In all, the two ways to gain 'tickets' is as follows:
Advertise in your journal. (just one is needed, and must be kept throughout duration of contest)
For each person who actually submits an entry and mentions they found out about the contest through you in their submission comment/note.
Please do not spam/harrass people! If I find out this is happening
