Just some rambling thoughts regarding oldold chars of mine... tbh, only Kiro/Shi/Kysha/Khil had any real set idea. The other four are ones that I am creating as 'spiritual' reincarnations of the lovers originally established through RPage with an old (ex?) friend of mine. Just had too much energy/time/emotion invested with my chars and hers, so I felt it just wrong to have completely new 'mates' for mine... so while I have obviously gone with different names and originations, a lot of what made those chars, 'them' spiritually, remains the same.
Shikiro Kilar
Shikyaro Kilar
Shikysha Entreri
Khilsha Entreri
Sydriel _____ ?
Keasalu _____ ?
Keisya _____ ?
_____ _____ ?
Hm... so. Sydriel and Keasalu are both rulers of the country (Sunaru?), either of them presiding over the northern or southern half (It's a very big country). Many of the cities within, including each of the northern and southern capitals, are skyridden.
Shikiro is the ruler of Azure, a completely airborne country and one of the three that are known for their dragon presence/dependency.
Shikyaro is his slightly younger brother, and heir to the throne after Shikiro and his consort.
Both were the product of a marriage between their (deceased) father and his Sablean wife, their looks favouring the latter's heritage.
Shikysha and Khilsha are twins originally from Azure, but due to one thing or another, their parents ended up splitting with them being separated and being made to go with their mother or father to a new land - both ended up in opposite ends of Sunaru without knowing, and eventually both ended up being wooed by and bonded to Sydriel and Keasalu (Guess the bond between twins works in mysterious ways )
Keisya is the younger brother of _____, and
I don't know what else, I have yet to think of some BSed background for them yet.
Only thing I do know is that Kei and his brother are bonded to Shikiro and Shi(kyaro), respectively.
All the countries mentioned exist and yet don't exist within the planes of modern earth.
Azure/Sable/Or all have heavy medievel-esque influences to them, though at the same time have also incorporated modern technologies and whatnot as well. In some aspects, they prove superior in many modern aspects as well. The medieval influence is mainly focused on architecture and clothing.
Sunaru is a country that is ruled by two brothers, either of them in charge of either the northern or southern half. Each of the subdivision that they rule is considered separate from the other, so while a lot of culture/traditions remain the same, there might also be those that are different from one of the regions to the other. Northern Sunaru is ruled by Sydriel (and, consequentially, Khil) while southern Sunaru is ruled by Keasalu (and Kysha); the latter was the main focus of a long ago war, and a lot of the land reflects such. Southern Sunaru also tends to have far more archaic looking architecture, having been around 'longer' than its northern counterpart.
Kiro/Sy/Salu are more or less able to let their countries run on their own, really only being figureheads though they do still play an important role in the rule of things.
As it is, it isn't uncommon for any of them to prefer taking 'vacations' to modernEarth, living and interacting with humans (like us)

The Summoner Contest Results
Okay, so to begin with, thank you to everyone who participated. The turnout was far better than I anticipated, and due to such it became one of my hardest contests to judge as of late!
Before I go on to announce the main place-holders, I wanted to let everyone know the basis of what I judged on after all the opinions and thoughts I got from those who I consulted for a bit of help...
* Effort:
Obviously. I wanted to be able to both see and get the feeling that the artist put a lot of work into their piece, and didn't just toss it together at the last minute.
* Creativity:
Can also be referred to as concept originality, I wanted to see
The Summoner Art Contest Advertising Contest [$25]
At the end of the contest, a raffle will be held and the winner will get $25USD (or equivalent in :points: if s/he doesn't have PayPal).
Anyone can enter, as long as s/he advertises the contest in his/her journal, though that isn't the only way one can get 'tickets' entered into the raffle.
In all, the two ways to gain 'tickets' is as follows:
Advertise in your journal. (just one is needed, and must be kept throughout duration of contest)
For each person who actually submits an entry and mentions they found out about the contest through you in their submission comment/note.
Please do not spam/harrass people! If I find out this is happening
